Registered Nurse Emergency Room (ER)

Duration: 13 Weeks

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing a wide range of emergency conditions including trauma cardiac neurological and pediatric emergencies.

• 4x12-Hour Night Shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Must be available to work alternating holidays as needed

• Active New York RN License (required)
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS

• Emergency Department experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Epic charting experience required

• IV Therapy and Blood Product Administration
• Central Line Care
• Phlebotomy
• IV Initiation and Maintenance
• IV Vasopressor Administration
• CPAP/BiPAP Management
• Ventilator Management
• Cardiac Monitoring and Dysrhythmia Interpretation
• Stroke (CVA) Management
• Neuro Trauma and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Spinal Cord Injury Care
• Adult and Pediatric Emergency Care
• Orthopedic Trauma
• Trauma and Critical Care Stabilization
• Triage
• Isolation Precautions

• Adult and Geriatric Patients
• Broad range of emergency and acute care diagnoses

• Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making abilities
• Ability to perform effectively in a high-acuity emergency setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to float to other units within skill set as needed
