JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Registered Nurse Director - Emergency Services

RN DIR - ED

Full-Time

Registered Nurse Director candidates for the Emergency Services Department will have the following job responsibilities:

• The Director of Emergency Services ensures high-quality patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s) and department(s) in addition to forecasting planning and budget monitoring.
• The Director of Emergency Services fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies policies and procedures in support of facility objectives.

Registered Nurse Director - Emergency Services

RN DIR - ED

Registered Nurse Director candidates for the Emergency Services Department must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in nursing Required

• Masters Degree Preferred

• 3 years applicable acute care leadership experience required

• 5 years applicable Emergency Services experience required

Candidate Requirements (NonNegotiable)

• Regulatory compliance expertise Must demonstrate solid handson knowledge of regulatory standards relevant to emergency services.
• Trauma leadership experience Must have served as a Director (or equivalent leadership role) in a Level I or Level II trauma center within a large highvolume ER comparable to Mission.
• Minimum tenure requirement Candidates with fewer than 35 years of the above trauma leadership experience will not be considered.
• Performance metrics on résumé Quantifiable outcomes (KPIs improvements operational metrics) must be included.
• Stable work history Candidates with a pattern of frequent job changes (every 12 years) will not move forward.
• Prefer union experience but not required
