Registered Nurse – CVOR | Galloway Township, NJ | W2

AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Campus is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse CVOR to provide nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. The RN will perform cardiovascular scrub duties and support cardiac vascular thoracic general and robotic surgical procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide nursing care in the CVOR General OR and Hybrid OR.
• Perform cardiovascular scrub duties.
• Scrub for cardiac vascular thoracic and general surgical procedures.
• Support procedures including CABG TAVR LVAD/RVAD TEVAR VATS and aortic aneurysm repair.
• Handle surgical equipment instrumentation supplies and specimens.
• Follow infection control and Universal Protocol/Time-Out procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the surgical and interdisciplinary teams.
• May be required to float between AtlantiCare City and Mainland campuses based on staffing needs.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required.
• Cardiovascular scrub experience required.
• Experience with cardiac vascular thoracic general and robotic surgery.
• Experience in CVOR General OR and Hybrid OR environments.
• Active New Jersey RN License or Compact License required at submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required both accepted only through American Heart Association (AHA).
• Certifications must be included with submission.
• Cerner PowerChart/SurgiNet experience required.
• Travel experience is not required.
• Like experience may be considered with 1 years of experience.
