Shift: Day Shift 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Contract: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Charge Nurse for a day shift opportunity in a Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care setting. This role is ideal for an RN with strong leadership clinical judgment and resident care experience who can support daily nursing operations and guide care team members.
Responsibilities

Coordinate and direct nursing care for assigned residents/patients

Support assessment planning implementation and evaluation of care

Serve as a charge nurse quality resource and unit support leader

Provide administrative backup support when needed

Assist with resident/patient and family teaching

Work cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and care team members

Maintain resident/patient privacy dignity and confidentiality

Follow facility policies procedures and care standards
Requirements

Active Maine or Compact Registered Nurse license required

Associate degree in nursing required

Minimum 3 years nursing experience required

BLS/BCLS required
-
Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care experience preferred

Strong leadership communication and team coordination skills required

Must be able to work day shifts and holiday coverage as needed

Traveler must reside 50 miles from the facility
