Location: Carbondale Illinois
Pay Rate: $80/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts 7:00 AM 5:30 PM; rotating days off
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience: Minimum 2 years
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Carbondale IL. This role is ideal for a skilled Cath Lab nurse with strong procedural support experience patient monitoring skills and the ability to assist with a wide range of cardiac and vascular procedures.
Responsibilities

Administer moderate sedation during Cath Lab procedures

Monitor patients before during and after procedures

Assist with procedure setup and room breakdown

Support procedures including left heart cath right heart cath peripheral interventions carotid stents AAAs TAVR and device implants

Collaborate with physicians and the Cath Lab team to ensure safe patient care

Maintain accurate documentation and follow procedural safety standards

Participate in required weekday and weekend call rotation
Requirements

Active Illinois Registered Nurse license required

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required

More than 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred

BLS/BCLS required

Ability to work 4x10-hour day shifts with rotating days off

Call required: one weekday per week and one weekend every 4 weeks
