About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Hospice Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Missoula MT. This role provides skilled nursing care case management and patient/family support in a residential hospice setting. The position may begin as a Visiting RN and transition into a Case Manager role based on care needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients in their place of residence
• Assess patient condition symptoms treatment response and psychosocial needs
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members and community resources
• Support patient and family education counseling and care planning
• Oversee care provided by Home Health Aides and CNAs
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and participate in quality improvement activities
• Participate in on-call weekend and holiday coverage as required

Requirements

• Active Montana Registered Nurse license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care home care or hospice experience preferred
• Hospice RN experience strongly preferred
• Valid drivers license auto insurance and reliable transportation required
• Clinical skills in wound care catheterization venipuncture and/or parenteral therapy preferred
• Homecare Homebase experience strongly preferred
