Schedule: Days/varied shifts rotating weekends

About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Corvallis OR. This role supports cardiac surgery and procedural sedation patients in the operating room caring for pediatric adolescent adult and elderly patient populations.
Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care in the cardiac operating room.

Function as a circulating nurse during surgical procedures.

Support cardiac surgery open heart and procedural sedation cases.

Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia and clinical team members.

Monitor patient status and respond to changes during procedures.

Maintain sterile technique safety standards and OR protocols.

Document accurately using EPIC.

Support patients being admitted or discharged after procedures.

Assist with rotating weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
Requirements
-
Active Oregon Registered Nurse license required at submission.

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.

At least 1 year of OR circulating experience required or completion of approved didactic pre-operative nursing class.

BLS required.

ACLS required.
-
CVOR/Open Heart experience preferred.

ICU experience preferred.

Scrubbing experience preferred.

EPIC experience preferred.

Must be available for days/varied shifts and rotating weekends.
