Location: Corvallis Oregon
Pay Rate: $66/hr
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Days/varied shifts rotating weekends
Total Working Hours per week: 40 hours
Experience: Minimum 2 years

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Corvallis OR. This role supports cardiac surgery and procedural sedation patients in the operating room caring for pediatric adolescent adult and elderly patient populations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide perioperative nursing care in the cardiac operating room.

  • Function as a circulating nurse during surgical procedures.

  • Support cardiac surgery open heart and procedural sedation cases.

  • Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia and clinical team members.

  • Monitor patient status and respond to changes during procedures.

  • Maintain sterile technique safety standards and OR protocols.

  • Document accurately using EPIC.

  • Support patients being admitted or discharged after procedures.

  • Assist with rotating weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

Requirements

  • Active Oregon Registered Nurse license required at submission.

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.

  • At least 1 year of OR circulating experience required or completion of approved didactic pre-operative nursing class.

  • BLS required.

  • ACLS required.

  • CVOR/Open Heart experience preferred.

  • ICU experience preferred.

  • Scrubbing experience preferred.

  • EPIC experience preferred.

  • Must be available for days/varied shifts and rotating weekends.
