Looking for an opportunity to be part of something new and exciting The Cardiovascular Observation Unit (COU) at Deaconess Gateway is one of the hospitals newest specialty units offering nurses the chance to help shape a growing department while gaining valuable experience in advanced cardiac care.
This 27-bed cardiac-focused unit cares for patients undergoing heart catheterizations structural heart procedures ablations pacemaker and defibrillator implants CABG surgeries and more. Nurses also provide PACU recoveries for advanced procedures such as TAVR LAAO and A-Fib ablations creating a unique blend of observation procedural and recovery nursing.
