As a Labor & Birth RN you will:
- Provide exceptional patient-centered care throughout labor delivery and recovery
- Assess monitor and respond to changing maternal and fetal conditions
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Educate and support patients and families
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary care teams
- Utilize fetal monitoring laboratory and diagnostic data to guide care decisions
- Participate in bedside handoffs and patient safety initiatives
- Contribute to quality improvement efforts and evidence-based practice
- Maintain professional growth through certifications continuing education and specialty development
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ADN Diploma or BSN)
- Current RN License or eligibility for licensure in the state of Missouri
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Previous RN experience in an acute care or applicable clinical setting
- ACLS
- NRP
- S.T.A.B.L.E.
- C-EFM
- PALS
- Other unit-specific certifications as required
This position requires the ability to:
- Lift push and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout shifts
- Reach bend kneel squat twist and perform direct patient care activities
