Weekend SCHEDULE: FRIDAY SATURDAY & SUNDAY PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Adults Geriatrics All Mental Health Diagnoses SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: BH is split between 2 floors 2nd and 9th. Team members rotate between the 2 floors and all are expected to work in every area of acuity. We have psych techs who are not CNAs but they do check vital signs blood glucose and other duties. Their main job is milieu management and patient monitoring. There are lead psych techs who are out of coverage and help with deescalation. Our team lead is in coverage however there is either a nurse manager assistant nurse manager or house supervisor onsite and virtual clinical nursing support available 24/7. We have a therapy team who works 7 days per week and conducts all groups. SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: We use ObservSmart for patient monitoring. It is a proximity-based tool that improves safe outcomes. We also use personal panic alarms and public safety in the building.
