ARegistered Nurse (RN)who excels in this role:

  • Accurately performs patient assessments andidentifiespatient needs

  • Identifiesandinitiatesappropriate nursinginterventions

  • Provides careappropriate tocondition and age of the patient

  • Performstimelyandappropriate documentationrelating to medical necessity in the medical record

  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient

  • PerformstimelyandaccurateQI assessments

  • Performs plan-of-care interventions including medication administration specimen collection clinical treatments and other medical care activities.
  • Documents patient care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monitors records and communicates patient condition to the care team physicians patients and families.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene elimination nutrition ambulation).
  • Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers discharges referrals and psychosocial/spiritual support needs).
  • Assesses learning needs and delivers age-/culture-appropriate patient and family education.
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
  • Participates in unit and organizational performance improvement and required continuing education.
  • Provides quality patient care and works other shifts/units as needed; may be assigned on-call.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What were looking for
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associates degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
Basic Life Support certification is required.
ACLS and PALS are required.
One year of experience preferred.
ASLS certification preferred.
