Registered Nurse (RN) Ambulatory Care (OB-GYN)

Location: Syracuse NY

Job Type: 14-Week Contract Traveler or Local

Shift: Day Shift (MondayFriday)

Pay Rate: $55 - $60/hour

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care in an outpatient OB-GYN setting. The RN will be responsible for patient assessments care coordination triage education and clinical support while working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. This position is ideal for nurses with womens health experience who thrive in a fast-paced ambulatory care environment.

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License required.

• Current BLS Certification required.

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care nursing experience within the last 2 years required.

• OB-GYN nursing experience required.

• Ambulatory care experience preferred.

• Experience working in hospitals of similar size and acuity preferred.

• EPIC EMR experience preferred.

• Level I Trauma Center experience highly desired.

• Excellent assessment communication and patient education skills.

• Clear professional license history with no suspensions investigations or liability claims.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and nursing evaluations.

• Provide direct nursing care and clinical support in an ambulatory OB-GYN setting.

• Assist with examinations procedures and patient treatments.

• Educate patients regarding treatment plans medications preventive care and follow-up instructions.

• Coordinate care with physicians advanced practice providers and healthcare team members.

• Triage patient concerns and provide appropriate clinical guidance.

• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and other clinical systems.

• Ensure compliance with facility policies regulatory standards and patient safety protocols.

• New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Ambulatory Care Experience

• EPIC EMR Experience

• Level I Trauma Center Experience
