Registered Dietitian
Candidate must have Bachelors degree in Nutrition and be a CDR Registered dietician
Bachelors or Masters degree in Nutrition Dietetics or related field;
Completion of an accredited dietetic internship;
Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential; or
State licensure (CDN if doesnt have RD/RDN licensure maybe acquired after being hired).
Tasks: Positions in this series provide dietetic care and nutrition services to individuals* in State facilities or community residential settings. Incumbents assist in the management of food and nutrition program operations; participate in diet meal and menu planning and development; assist in and/or provide instruction on diet and nutrition therapy meal planning and food preparation and sanitation to individuals families and healthcare direct care and food service staff; and inspect and supervise food preparation service areas and meals to ensure compliance with dietetic care and nutrition plans standards regulations and requirements.
Proper footwear required to perform tasks in a safe manner.
Perform other reasonably related duties as required.

- All staff get a two day security orientation upon hire and are precepted by a staff member for as much time as needed typically 2 -3 weeks.
