Come be the spark at Warm Hearth! Were looking for a PRN Registered Dietitian to serve the residents of the Kroontje Health Care Center. The Kroonje Center provides care in four different areas: assisted living memory care skilled care and a nursing home setting. This role will provide backup for the FT registered dietitian incoordinating the nutritional care of all Center residents by completing an initial nutritional assessment and monitoring the residents evolving dietary needs.

Central to success in this position will be a customer-service centered focus as youllregularly participate in care planning meetings offer nutritional counseling and education for residents and their family members and interact with residents throughout the Center. Ultimately this position will be charged with providing services in accordance with all relevant local state and federal regulatory standards.

Salary is competitive and commiserate with experience.

Requirements:

• A valid and active Registered Dietitians license in the state of Virginia.
• At least one year of experience working in a long-term care or hospital setting.
  
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  

Preferences:

• Experience with electronic charting. Experience with MatrixCare is especially desirable.
• Familiarity with the state survey process and ongoing compliance to nutrition care regulations.

This position is PRN (as needed) for 3-4 months August- November. Dayshift flex hours.

Pay: 32.00 per hour.
