Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Seeking RBTs to work in schools within in Elkton MD for 26-27 School Year.

Summer 26 hours may be available in Delaware if you wish to start sooner!

In this role you will:

• Implement BCBA-designed behavior intervention plans with fidelity in elementary school settings
• Provide direct support using prompting reinforcement skill-building and behavior reduction strategies
• Collect and track session data maintaining accurate documentation and reporting progress to the BCBA
• Follow safety and crisis protocols to ensure a secure learning environment
• Collaborate with school staff and maintain professional communication with teams and families
• Demonstrate reliability professionalism and adherence to ethical and program standards

About DESS:

Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions (DESS)providessupporttoschools around early learning academic interventions safety practices and the assessment and treatment of students with complex behaviors cognitive challenges and communication needs. We use evidence-based practices with an emphasis on assisting school systems with special education populations.

EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED required. Must hold current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

EXPERIENCE: Prior experience working with children or adolescents in educational clinical or community settings preferred. Experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is strongly preferred but not required.
