40Summary:
Start a hands-on career in Applied Behavior Analysis with Cook Childrens. This full-time Program Specialist I role serves as primary caregiver for patients in our ABA programs (Behavior Disorders Clinic and Autism Services) delivering therapy protocols under BCBA direction maintaining a safe environment and helping manage challenging behaviors. Youll also take part in data collection training and close collaboration with the treatment team.
Certification is not required to start RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification is provided within your first 6 months with training and fees covered. Experience in ABA therapy special education or working with children with behavioral or developmental needs is strongly preferred.
Education/Experience:
- High school Diploma. Experience in ABA therapy settings or special education settings is strongly preferred. Pediatric experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
- Heartsaver CPR and CSC SCM training must be completed within 60 days of start date.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification is required within 6 months of start date (training and fees provided by the department).
