Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Water/Wastewater Account Leader to help shape the future of water infrastructure across Texas. This is a unique opportunity to lead strategic client relationships influence the growth of one of the industrys leading water practices and work alongside nationally recognized technical experts on some of the states most impactful water and wastewater programs.
This highly visible leadership role is ideal for a proven water industry professional who excels at building client relationships driving business growth leading high-performing teams and delivering complex infrastructure projects that improve communities. Youll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on Arcadis continued growth in Texas while helping our clients solve their most critical water challenges.
Role accountabilities:
As a Water/Wastewater Account Leader in Texas you will serve as a trusted advisor to municipal and utility clients while helping expand Arcadis presence in one of the nations fastest-growing water markets. This role offers significant influence over client strategy market growth team development and the continued expansion of our Texas Water business. Supported by a deep bench of technical specialists project managers and national practice leaders you will focus on growing client relationships winning strategic pursuits and delivering exceptional results.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and grow strategic client relationships identify new opportunities and lead business development efforts across the Texas water market.
- Lead positioning capture planning proposals presentations and interviews to win complex water and wastewater projects.
- Oversee the successful delivery of water and wastewater treatment conveyance reuse and pumping facility projects while managing scope risk schedule and financial performance.
- Partner with technical leaders and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions and exceptional client service.
- Mentor and develop engineers and project managers while helping build a high-performing collaborative team culture.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients providing strategic guidance on long-term water and wastewater infrastructure planning and investment.
Travel of approximately 10% is required for client meetings project visits and business development activities.

They bring a successful blend of client engagement business development technical excellence and leadership with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering major water projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Environmental Mechanical Chemical Engineering or a related field
- 15 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain through reciprocity
Preferred Qualifications:
- 20 years of relevant industry experience
- Masters degree in Civil Environmental Mechanical Chemical Engineering or a related field

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $148800 - $223200. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
