Description of Work

The position must develop a means of assessing staff training needs and develop appropriate
training plans. The trainer must provide training in a variety of training capacities such as
classroom training webinars teletalks and web-based training and must stay abreast of state and
federal regulations as they apply to the Child Support Program and the customers. This position
must manage multiple priorities and time sensitive projects; be able to communicate with diverse
groups and individuals and have the ability to accept and complete special projects in addition to
the general assignments.

Brunswick
Carteret
Columbus
Craven
Cumberland
Duplin
Jones
Lenoir
New Hanover
Onslow
Pamlico
Pender
Sampson

Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Salary Range: $55221 - $96639

Recruitment Range: $5521 - $68861

The Knowledge Skills and Abilities/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred.

  • Knowledge of the Child Support Services and Public Assistance Programs in North Carolina
  • Knowledge of Automated Collection & Tracking System (ACTS) functionality
  • Customer Service; Effective Communications
  • Accurate Decisions and Problem Solving; coaching leadership
  • Organize presentations and effective presentation skills

This position is funded in part through federal funds.
