Job Summary
As a Regional Safety Professional at John W. Danforth Company you will support safe work environments across our jobsites and facilities by partnering with operations teams to implement safety programs identify risks ensure compliance and promote a strong safety culture. Your goal is to help reduce incidents and ensure every employee returns home safely each day.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide guidance training and support to employees and project teams on safety policies procedures and best practices.
Conduct regular jobsite visits inspections and audits to identify and correct potential hazards.
Partner with field leadership and operations teams to promote accountability and continuous safety improvement.
Support the development and implementation of project-specific safety plans and programs.
Lead or assist with incident injury and near-miss investigations and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations company policies and customer safety requirements.
Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to employees and field teams.
Maintain safety documentation reports and records as required.
Encourage and promote a strong safety culture aligned with Danforths values.
Qualifications
3 years of safety experience in construction mechanical contracting or a related industry.
Bachelors degree in Safety Construction Management Engineering or a related field preferred.
Working knowledge of OSHA state and federal safety regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to train and influence employees at all levels.
Strong organizational problem-solving and time management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Self-starter with a commitment to safety learning and professional growth.

Geographic Disclosure
Compensation Range: $110000-$125000
Other Compensation: Bonus eligible
