Regional Operations Manager

Essential Job Functions

• Oversee all regional operations including truckload drayage and local pickup & delivery (P&D)
• Own full regional P&L including revenue cost control and margin performance
• Drive operational execution to meet or exceed service KPIs (on-time performance utilization safety etc.)
• Partner with Sales to support growth initiatives pricing strategies and customer onboarding
• Develop and execute regional capacity plans including company drivers owner-operators and vendor partners
• Ensure proper staffing training and performance management across all stations within the region
• Maintain strong customer relationships and support issue resolution and escalations as needed
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures compliance and safety standards
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency reduce costs and optimize network performance
• Provide regular performance reporting and lead monthly reviews on financial and operational results

Other Skills and Qualifications

• 7 years of transportation/logistics operations experience with multi-site leadership preferred.
• Strong understanding of truckload drayage and local P&D operations.
• Proven experience managing P&L and driving margin improvement.
• Ability to lead teams across multiple locations and develop operational leaders.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Sales Finance and Customer Operations.
• Proficiency in TMS systems and operational reporting tools.

Physical Requirements

• Talking hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
• Work performed in warehouse/manufacturing environment
• Job will require punctual attendance and regular presence on-site at the assigned work location

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED Required
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Minimumfouryears related experience required
• Minimumthreeyears industry experience required

Certification & Licenses

• Professional certification may be required in some areas

California required disclosure: Salary range for this position is between USD 80000 - 110000 annually.
