• Provide coverage and support to other areas outside of yourjurisdictionasrequired.
• Promote and enforce safety throughout the plant by building a culture of safety (See Safety Responsibilities below).
• Provides daily direction to the production team leaders and team members to ensure the manufacturing of quality products.
• Conducts daily meetings withthe productionteam to pass along relevant information about safety quality production & other plant related communications.
• Ability to understand problems that arise from the productionarea;and must work withteamto develop & implement corrective action.
• Facilitates training & development of team members / Ensure all Team Members are being trained to standard work.
• Supports kaizen events.
• Maintainstrainingmatrix of team members.
• Prepares relevant KPIs daily and posts toSQDCboard.
• Maintains team member attendance records.
• Approves employee time off requests and manages team member payroll.
• Follows guidelines in employee handbook for progressive discipline.
• Responsible for appraisal& disciplineof all team members withinthe teamas needed.
• Keeps a positive attitude and encourages positive employee relations.

• Gain knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation as well as plant safety rules to perform duties safely and in compliance with allKCCrules and regulations.
• Participateand/or leadtoolbox talks & monthly training.
• Take every reasonable precaution for the protection ofyourcoworkers.
