Sentara Foot & Ankle Specialists Belleharbour is seeking to hire a Full-Time Referral Coordinator in Suffolk VA.

Position Hours:Monday-Friday 8a 430p Dayshift. NO NIGHTS HOLIDAYS or WEEKENDS!

Position Location: Suffolk VA

Overview

Provides a direct link between patients primary care providers specialty providers and insurance companies. Coordinates referral process from primary care providers as well as pre-authorization approvals for drugs and other services as ordered by provider.

Medical terminology preferred. Knowledge of Medicare Medicaid and third-party payers. One year of experience with insurance verification/referral processing preferred. Knowledge of EPIC preferred. Proficient in use of computers and excellent organizational skills.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

• Health Insurance Plans 1 year experience required
• Medical terminology preferred
• One year of experience with insurance verification/referral processing preferred
• Knowledge of EPIC preferred
• Knowledge of Medicare Medicaid and third-party payer
• Strong Organizational Skills

We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $21.73 - $32.91 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials standby/on-call pay overtime shift premiums extra-shift incentives or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications experience location market conditions and business needs.
