REEL Shed Worker

Now hiring REEL Shed Workers to build and breakdown LARGE (5ft -10ft diameter)CABLE REELs for a Cable manufacturing companyin Milton FL.

Reel Shed Workersare responsible for handlingcable reels by loading unloading and organizing them in the warehouse. They are also responsible forbuilding and breaking down the LARGE (5ft -10ft diameter)Cable Reels.The job is physically demanding and requires lifting of 50 lbs. (or more) standing for long periods and working 12-hour shifts. REEL Shed Workers who do a good job AND have good attendance will have a chance to move up to Machine Operator roles.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Tracks the availabilityof allREELS throughout the property
• Paint& StencilanyREELSthat do NOT meet appearance requirements
• Builds/Assembles any REELSthat are NOT available
• Breakdown any REELSthat do not meet specifications - use viable parts to build new REELS
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area
• Follow ALL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
• Complete appropriate paperwork to ensure accurate inventory
• Ability to lift50lbs &work in a HOT environment
• MUST wear Steel Toe shoes/boots while anywherein the facility
• Other duties as assigned (including but not limited toheavy-lifting & various types of manual labor).

EXPERIENCE:

• Must have experience and be comfortable working in physically HOT environments.
• This is a physically demanding position you MUST be able to lift/move/transfer at least 50 throughout the shift.
• Previous REELbuilding/breakdown experience isPREFERRED but NOT required.

SCHEDULE:
Day Shift 7:30am - 7:30pm --- Full-time
(MUST be able to work OVER-TIME)
***EXPECT to work 60 hrs. a week***
(All Hours over 40 hours will be paid at time-and-a-half)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must completea pre-employment background check (having something on your record does NOT eliminate you from this position we take everything on an individual case-by-case basis)
• Must be able to pass adrug test.
• Must have Steel-toed boots.
• Must have RELIABLE transportation to Milton FL.
