Recruiting Specialist (Candidate Screening & Onboarding)

Location: Columbus OH (In Office)
Employment Type: Full-Time Salaried
Compensation: $50000 - $70000 annually

JSET Automated Technologies supports industrial construction controls automation electrical and data center projects across the United States. As we continue to grow were looking for a Recruiting Specialist to join our team and support hiring efforts across a variety of field technical and office-based positions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people staying organized learning new technology and helping move candidates through the hiring process from application to onboarding.

• Review resumes and identify qualified candidates
• Conduct phone interviews and candidate screening calls
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
• Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
• Process interview recordings and transcripts
• Maintain applicant tracking system records and recruiting documentation
• Track candidate movement through the hiring pipeline
• Assist with offers pre-employment activities and onboarding
• Maintain recruiting reports schedules and recruiting trackers
• Help ensure open positions move efficiently from application to hire

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Comfortable speaking with candidates throughout the day
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong follow-through and accountability
• Confidence learning new systems and technology
• Ability to accurately document conversations and interview notes
• Positive attitude and willingness to receive feedback and coaching
• Professional dependable and team-oriented approach

• 1-5 years of experience in recruiting staffing human resources customer service administration coordination scheduling or a related field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook Teams Excel and Word
• Ability to work full-time in our Columbus office

• Experience conducting phone interviews or candidate screenings
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Experience supporting high-volume hiring environments
• Experience coordinating interviews or onboarding activities
• Experience supporting construction skilled trades manufacturing industrial or technical hiring
• Bilingual English/Spanish

JSET is hiring for either a Level I or Level II Recruiting Specialist position. Placement within the range will be based on experience demonstrated capabilities and overall qualifications.
