Job Summary

The Opportunity

The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business Career Management Center isseekinga highly organized and customer-focusedRecruiting & Operations Coordinatorto support recruiting employer engagement initiatives career programming and career fairs for undergraduate MBA and specialized masters students.

This role serves as a key operational partner to employers students alumni and career management staff by overseeing recruiting platforms coordinating large-scale events managing communications and ensuring the seamless execution of recruiting activities.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented technically savvy and thrives in a fast-paced environment where multiple priorities must be managed simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Assistant Director of Recruiting & Employer Engagement with recruiting initiatives and special projects.

  • Support daily Career Development operations for undergraduate MBA and specialty Masters programs.

  • Manage job postings events and interview schedules using Handshake and 12Twenty.

  • Coordinate and execute career-related programming

  • Assistwith all eventlogistics scheduling communications and employer support.

  • Maintainaccurateemployer recruiting and event records in Salesforce and Handshake.

  • Promote jobs internships employer events and recruiting opportunities through various communication channels.

  • Develop and distribute weekly student newsletters

  • Monitor recruiting and hiring trends to help improve services for students and employers.

  • Serve as a resource for employers and students by providingtimelyinformation and support throughout the recruiting process.

  • Assistwith the administration and distribution of funding for summer internships and career exploration programs.

The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business is one of the most comprehensive business schools in the nation with 145 research faculty andnearly 2900undergraduateprofessionaland graduate students encompassing three schools Dyson Johnson and Nolan.

The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business Career Management Center provides services to more than 1800 undergraduate and graduates students enrolled in the Dyson School the Nolan School and the Johnson Graduate School of Management. The team of professionals associated with this center creates and delivers innovative career education and professional development initiatives; the center serves as a conduit for employers to connect with this talented group of young professionals.

What We Need

  • Associate degreewith 2-4 years of experience

  • Knowledge of computer software systems including Microsoft Office survey tools andZoom.

  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce.

  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects and priorities.

  • Must be able to independently manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a rapidly changing environment.

  • Must beaccurate methodical well-spoken and proficient in spelling grammar and proofreading.

  • Have the ability to work well with others while creating a high-quality and respectful work environment.

  • Requiresa high levelof initiative motivation independent judgment decision-making and commitment to precision and accuracy whilemaintaininga positive professional attitude and strong customer-service orientation.

  • Experience thatdemonstratessound judgment creativity management problem-solving skills and the ability to work well within a team of professionals.

  • Commitment to continued professional development.

  • Experience incorporating the perspectives of multiple communities.

  • Ability to cultivate and develop inclusive working relationships with students faculty staff and community members.

You will be competitive for this role if you have:

  • Experience coordinating and balancing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with employers students faculty alumni and colleagues

  • Experience using career services and recruiting platforms such as Handshake 12Twenty Salesforce and Mailchimp

  • Experience managing large datasets andmaintainingaccuraterecords across multiple systems and platforms

  • Experience planning coordinating and executing large-scale events career fairs recruiting programs or employer engagement initiatives
