Role Overview
The Recruiter is the engine of the West Houston branch. You will recruit onboard and place associates in light-industrial and related assignments while serving as a primary point of contact for both clients and employees. The job is part recruiting part customer service and part logistics. Orders need to be filled quickly and accurately associates need to show up prepared and clients need to hear from you before they have to ask.
This is a bilingual role. Only candidates who are fluent in Spanish and English Mandarin and English or Vietnamese and English should apply. Staffing experience is a plus but is not required. Core Responsibilities
Source screen and interview candidates for light-industrial and other assignments
Coordinate pre-employment steps including background checks drug screens and E-Verify
Complete all onboarding documentation accurately and on time
Fill client job orders quickly in a high-volume fast-paced environment
Match associate skills availability and reliability to customer needs
Confirm placements communicate start details and manage assignment logistics
Maintain ongoing communication with associates and clients to protect satisfaction and retention
Conduct check-ins with new hires and active assignments
Address attendance performance and behavioral concerns in partnership with management
Maintain accurate records in ATS and CRM systems such as Avionte or similar
Support workers compensation claims incident reporting and unemployment documentation
Follow EEOC OSHA and company policy requirements
Support front-office activity including phones and walk-in applicants
Maintain PPE and office supply inventory
Participate in the on-call rotation including after-hours and weekend support
Required Background
High school diploma or equivalent
One or more years in staffing recruiting customer service or administrative support
Bilingual Required: Spanish and English Mandarin and English or Vietnamese and English
Valid drivers license own vehicle and proof of auto insurance
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with an outgoing high-contact role and a heavy phone and walk-in volume
Available for a rotating on-call schedule including evenings and weekends
This position is in-person. Remote work and telecommuting are not available for this role.
