Job Summary
RECEPTIONIST/GREETER (Permanent)
Our client local nonprofit in WNY is seeking a Receptionist/Greeter to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to have an impact on the daily lives of those they interact with.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors and program participants with a welcoming demeanor
- Act as the initial point of contact providing a positive and inviting atmosphere for the site
- Maintain a positive and calm demeanor at all times
- Answer phones and assist as needed
- Perform data entry while updating/maintaining accurate & up-to-date records
- Ensure both electronic and paper filing systems are organized for easy access and proper documentation
- Collaborate with various team members across departments to ensure daily operations run smoothly
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times handling sensitive employee and participant information
- Maintain a neat and organized workspace
- Perform general clerical work
- Work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
- Position is full-time direct hire
- M-F 8:00am-4:00pm (can flex 7:30am-3:30pm); 100% on-site
- $18.00 - $18.50/hour depending on experience

- 2 years experience as a Receptionist/Greeter; nonprofit or healthcare experience is a plus
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact with program participants
- Highly confidential
- Strong computer skillsdata entry in Excel and SharePoint
- Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organization skills and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Relocation not available
