JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre campus is seeking applicants for part-time job of Receptionist and Office Assistant.

Job duties to include:

  • Serve as primary point of contact and escort for visitors
  • Answer phones/assist callers.
  • Provide general office support: maintain office supply inventory and ordering purchasing/ordering requests note taking for staff meetings and emergency drills scheduling shipping pickups enter work orders and maintain copies of forms needed for operations.
  • Assist with events workshops and meetings.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Forward university communications to faculty and staff

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products Teams Simba SAP Concur and Workday preferred
This position will work up to 24 hours per week throughout the 2026/2027 academic year.
