Job Summary

General Purpose:The Receiving Specialist II is responsible for accurately processing and documenting inbound materials to support Glocks manufacturing and distribution addition to core receiving functions this role owns inventory control and replenishment processes. This position ensures ERP system accuracy resolves discrepancies and maintains alignment between physical and system inventory. The Receiving Specialist II serves as a key link between Receiving Purchasing Planning and other operational and administrative functions supporting efficient material flow regulatory compliance and overall operational performance. Shift(s) Available:8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through FridaySupervisory Responsibilities:NoneDuties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned):Inbound Shipment ProcessingReceive and inspect inbound materials for accuracy condition and compliance with purchase piece counts lot numbers and serial numbers as and report discrepancies or damages to the Supervisor for timely compliance with all applicable firearms regulations and company & Documentation AccuracyAccurately record material receipts and inventory transactions within the ERP all required documentation for inbound shipments including packing slips and receiving and verify item labels to ensure proper identification and traceability for and validate system transactions to ensure alignment between physical and system ControlOwn inventory control processes including cycle counts reconciliation and variance and execute replenishment activities to support production order fulfillment and internal business inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis to prevent inventory levels and communicate shortages or delays to Planning and & ComplianceConduct quality inspections on received goods to verify compliance with company to OSHA and internal safety procedures during unloading handling and a clean safe and organized receiving area consistent with 5S and Lean -Functional CoordinationCollaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve discrepancies expedite critical materials and support overall operational as a point of contact for inventory-related issues and provide timely resolution across with internal customers to ensure timely material availability for production and order ImprovementIdentify and recommend process enhancements to improve receiving accuracy efficiency and in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives within the in training and onboarding team members on receiving and inventory control attendanceQualifications/Job Requirements:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for qualified employees or applicants with and/or Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferredMinimum 3 years of experience in logistics warehousing inventory control or order fulfillment understanding of inventory management reconciliation and replenishment with quality management systems (e.g. ISO) and safety regulations (e.g. OSHA EPA).Experience using ERP WMS (Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365) and inventory management systems; proficiency in data entry and report using spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel for data entry inventory tracking and basic and Certifications:Powered industrial truck endorsement (Internally certified)Must successfully pass and maintain a Security Threat Assessment (STA) under TSA regulationsPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
