DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for inspecting and testing of component parts kits and subassemblies to ensure strict compliance with company policies procedures processes and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Perform visual dimensional and physical inspection and testing of component parts kits and subassemblies

Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and perform necessary corrective actions

Disposition accepted and rejected product as needed

Complete inspection forms in a legible and accurate manner

Rework product to meet specifications as needed

Verify that all tools and scales are properly calibrated and in date and coordinate replacements as needed

Assist Receiving in the movement of product to inspection area as needed

Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training

Focus on continuous improvement and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

Assist with organization and cleaning of work area keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times

Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

REQUIRED SKILLS

Must be a friendly team player professional detail-oriented and honest

Must have the ability to:

Multi-task problem-solve and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment

Utilize testing and inspection equipment including go/no-go gauges measuring tape and use calibrated equipment to determine acceptance criteria

Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Compute and compile necessary data and present data in various forms for recording and reporting

Read interpret and follow instructions policies procedures and process guidelines

Operate effectively as a team member with minimal supervision

Lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs.

Must have:

Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement

A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods

Good verbal and written communication skills

Good visual and color perception with excellent attention to detail for fabric inspection

Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 6 months of Quality Assurance experience OR at least 1 year of experience in a hands-on assembly or manufacturing role following quality processes

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

At least 1 year of experience inspecting mechanical components and assemblies preferred

At least 1 year of experience in evaluating weld quality materials and inspection for completion preferred

At least 1 year of experience inspecting received parts in a manufacturing environment preferred

At least 1 year of experience utilizing Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) (Engineering Drawing and Related Documentation Practices) preferred

At least 6 months of experience operating powered industrial forklifts preferred

Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

REQUIRED EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
