This position works out of ourMenlo Park CA location in the Structural Heart division.

AsanReceivingInspection Supervisoryou will:Provide leadership to inspectors and technicians that support receiving in-process and final inspection tool inspection/qualifications and first article inspections.

WhatYoullWork On

Assuretimelyinspections that support materials productreleasesand in-process inspections.

Maintainstaff and equipment toassureappropriate technical capabilities.

Monitor inspection procedures for effectiveness.

Monitorcompliancetoappropriate regulatorystandards.

Effectively communicate with and provide support to otherdepartmentsas necessary.

Maintaina department culture of continuous improvement.

Support all Companyinitiatives asidentifiedby management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS) Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and other regulatory requirements.

Complies withU.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations other regulatory requirements Company policies operatingprocedures processes and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees customers contractors and vendors.

Qualifications

  • Associates/Technical Degree

  • Bachelors Degree Preferred

  • Minimum5yearsof hands-onrelevant experienceincluding but not limited to the following:

  • Quality supervisory experience in the medical industry

  • Experience with quality systems auditing (desired)

  • ASQ certification in quality Six Sigma and/or lean manufacturing (desired)

  • Experience working in a broader enterprise or cross-division business unit model (preferred)

  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment

  • Ability to work both within a team and independently in a fast-paced changing environment

  • Ability toleverageand engage others toaccomplishprojects

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple organizational levels

  • Ability to multitask prioritize and meet deadlinesin a timely manner

  • Strong organizational follow-up skills and attention to detail
