Job Title: Receiving Associate
Job Summary:
The Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving inspecting and processing incoming shipments to ensure materials are accurate undamaged and properly documented. This role supports inventory accuracy and timely material availability for production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders packing slips and shipping documents.
- Record receipts in the ERP/inventory management system.
- Label organize and route materials to appropriate storage or production areas.
- Report discrepancies shortages or damaged goods.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe receiving area.
- Coordinate with purchasing warehouse and production teams.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or receiving experience preferred.
- Basic computer and inventory system knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
