Start your career in public service. The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) Office of Facilities & Support Services (OFSS) is seeking candidates for the position ofReal Estate Tech 2. This position is located in Atlanta Fulton County Georgia and will require travel to facilities as needed.

Job Description:

Pay Grade: H

Under general supervision plans or coordinates selling buying leasing or governance activities of commercial or residential real estate properties.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Draft Letter of Intent or Preliminary Lease Terms.

  • Leasing Specialists Prepares Package for DHS Signatures. This includes Lease packet routing to the divisions (DFCS DCSS and DAS) for preliminary approval.
  • Renewal and renegotiations.
  • Receive revisions from SPC/Savills.
  • Participating in project kick off meetings with SPC/Savills.
  • Report maintenance and repair issues and follow up.
  • Coordinate move-out inspection form.
  • SPC forms (SAF SUP and SUQ) is to be routed accordingly per division.
  • The leasing specialist must be able to attend site visits and be aware of the issues being addressed.
  • Review lease documents renewals amendments and leases.
  • Be able to identify key points from lease and transfer to internal database.
  • Must know how to complete financial task including but limited to CAM charges.
  • Update Prolease & MicroMain.
  • Update internal project tracking spreadsheets.
  • Update maintenance tracker.
  • Update move in/out tracker.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED AND two (2 Years of experience in commercial real estate space management or space allocation.
