- Manage pre-development real estate opportunities from inception through application entitlement and construction closing.
- Identify and evaluate potential sites for development aligned with strategic goals.
- Conduct market site and financial feasibility analyses including risk assessment and investment recommendations.
- Oversee all pre-development activities including due diligence legal review and project scheduling.
- Prepare and submit applications for project financing (public and private) and coordinate with lenders investors and government agencies.
- Lead financial modeling and structure project funding to optimize returns and minimize risks.
- Manage entitlement processes (zoning permits variances) and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Represent the organization in public meetings and with community stakeholders.
- Coordinate with architects engineers consultants and internal teams through design and pre-construction phases.
- Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders building positive relationships with investors partners and public entities.
- Prepare and deliver project presentations reports and performance analyses for management and external audiences.
- Track project performance manage budgets and schedules and report on key metrics.
- Support organizational portfolio strategy and process improvement initiatives.
- Lead transaction and financial closings ensuring all legal and financial documentation is complete and organized.
- Facilitate handoff of completed projects to Asset Management with thorough documentation.
- Requires a Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) and 3 5 years in real estate development or related fields.
- Proficiency in financial modeling project management tools and understanding of real estate finance and regulations.
- Strong skills in leadership organization communication negotiation and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Occasional travel to development sites required.
