Location: Primarily in-office in New Yorks Hudson Valley with limited flexibility available in certain circumstances. We prefer local candidates who enjoy collaborating closely with clients and colleagues.

Note: Candidates must be admitted to practice law in New York and have at least 3 years of real estate law experience. Commercial real estate transaction experience is highly desirable.

Job Description

• Draft review and negotiate purchase and sale agreements leases easements and related real estate documents.
• Handle commercial and residential real estate transactions from contract through closing.
• Conduct title and survey review and perform due diligence.
• Advise clients regarding zoning land use development and regulatory compliance matters.
• Represent clients in acquisitions dispositions financing transactions and closings.
• Coordinate with lenders title companies developers brokers and government agencies.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing practical legal guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to deliver outstanding client service.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active New York bar admission.
• 3 years of real estate law experience.
• Strong drafting negotiation and analytical skills.
• Commercial real estate transaction experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
