What You Will Do:
The RCMI Training Specialist will be responsible for developing and administering revenue cycle-based trainings across internal and external Defense Health Agency (DHA) Teams. This position will help strengthens users proficiency in revenue cycle systems roles and functions through instructor-led training computer-based training scenario-based practice and hands-on coaching.
Training
Administer Revenue Cycle Management and MHS GENESIS focused web-based courses using Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) customized or agency-developed materials.
Deliver Revenue Cycle Management MHS GENESIS live instructor-led training in both traditional and virtual environments internal and external teams.
Develop Revenue Cycle Management MHS GENESIS course materials handouts instructor guides and visual aids.
Support Revenue Cycle Management MHS GENESIS distance learning through online courses mobile learning webcasts podcasts and video-based training.
Manage the agencys Learning Management System (LMS): upload content maintain modules and ensure Section 508 compliance.
Monitor training effectiveness through assessments and analytics; recommend improvements.
Coordinate logistics for instructor-led and virtual sessions including scheduling and prerequisite tracking.
Provide technical support and customer service for training participants.
Training Redesign
Conduct training needs assessments across all Revenue Cycle Management MHS GENESIS practitioner levels.
Redesign existing courses and develop new curriculum to support financial and acquisitions operations.
Create innovative learning solutions (gamification blended/hybrid models interactive e-learning).
Develop Revenue Cycle Management MHS GENESIS certification programs aligned with federal standards.
Pilot Revenue Cycle Management MHS GENESIS new courses gather feedback and refine before full rollout.
Ensure all materials remain current with policy system and organizational changes.
Maintain compliance with federal security privacy and records management policies.
What You Will Need:
Bachelors degree required.
3 years in instructional design training development and delivery.
Expertise in adult learning theory and technology-enabled training.
Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proficiency with virtual learning platforms LMS administration is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards (i.e.: All deliverables must be Section 508 compliant and free of macros).
Ability to obtain and maintain Tier 2 Public Trust clearance.
US Citizenship is required.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
2 years of experience MHS GENESIS (Oracle/CERNER EHR platform) Revenue Cycle Management training is a plus.
Ability to integrate emerging technologies (AI automation) into training programs.
Advanced degree or certifications (e.g. CPTD ATD) preferred.
Use of Captivate or articulate software application for learning content development.
