Role Purpose

The Ramp Supervisor you willbe responsible forsupervising the unloading and loading of luggagefreightand cargo on and off commercialaircraft. The Ramp Supervisor will also drive andoperatesmall specialized commercial vehicles. This position will require heavy lifting pushing pulling bending and stretching.

What you will be doing

• Supervise lead agents;allocatingramp agent resources as needed

• Move cargo and baggage on and offaircraftand transport it betweenaircraft airport terminals air cargo facilities and otheraircraft

• Ensure that ramp personnel adhere toestablishedcompany safety regulations

• Perform as a mentor to other employees and provide training to new employees

• Some responsibilities may include interviewing hiring and training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems as needed for violations of company policy

• Complete shift reports and sign timecards

• Assistin the preparation of performance evaluation forms

• Prepare disciplinary incident and or termination reports

• Assistin the baggage handling area

• Conduct shift briefings to ensure staff is organized and informed

• Read and interpretaircraftweight and balance loading instructions hazardous material identification labelsaircraftloading manifests and baggage and cargo routing tags

• Operate motorized equipment

You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health safety and wellbeing of yourself and othersin accordance withprovided information training and workplace health and safety rules or procedures. What we are looking for:

• One (1) years of front-line ramp experience or similar role
• Minimum one (1) year of lead or supervisory experience in a similar or related role

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Possess valid US drivers license with a clean driving record

• Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing

• Ability to proficiently read write and speak English

• Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively

• Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions

• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays

• Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal

• To report any significant deficiency in our productsmaterialsand documents

• Hasaduty to suggest any improvements to working practices especially those relating to Safety and security

• Must have read and signed the Station Quality Manual Emergency Response ProceduresManualand the Station Security Manual.

• Must have high school diploma GED
