Role Purpose

Menzies Aviation is seeking a full-time diligent Ramp Agent to join our Team. The Ramp Agent plays an important role in ensuring that flights run on time by maintaining detailed records of shipped goods moving baggage and cargo from aircraft and guiding aircraft to and from their gates.

What you will be doing

• Comfortably and continuously lift/move 70 lbs. of cargo and baggage on and off aircraft and transport it between aircraft airport terminals and air cargo facilities.

• Frequent bending stretching push/pulling stacking and kneeling insmall confinedlocations.

• Operate motorized equipment.

• Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions hazardous material identification labels aircraft loading manifests and baggage and cargo routing tags.

• Performs other duties as assigned.ââ

What we are looking for:

• âMust be at least 18 years of age.

• âMust have high school diploma GED or six months prior ramp agent work experience.

• âMust be able to pass all pre-employment testing including a drug test.

• âCapable of safelylifting upto 70 lbs. continuously.

• âMust be able to proficiently speak read and write in English proficiently.

• âMust have a current drivers license with no violations over the past 5 years

• âMust be available and flexible to work variable shifts including overtime weekends and holidays.

• âWork is done primarily outdoors. Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.

• âMust be able to obtain and maintain all required Airports and Custom badges/seals.

• âPrior ramp experience a plus.

Pay: $17.00 Hourly
