The base compensation range for role of Field Engineer in San Diego CA posted above is $73000 to $ 110 FunctionsCollaborate with Project Managers Superintendents Foreman and crews to ensure that work plans are tracked and analyzed to maximize efficiency and safetyAssist in developing and updating the project quality objectives are being met for the projectMay supervise the work of other project resources and provide mentoring and coachingPrepare field material take-offsInitiate and prepare requisitions for the procurement of services materials and equipment necessary to support the project scheduleSchedule and coordinate the release of construction design documents in support of the construction scheduleAssist in cost tracking and help maintain budget controls Track quantities materials and equipment usage on-siteAdditional responsibilities requested by Project Management teamConduct safety audits perform job hazard analyses (JHAs) manage site-specific safety plans and support our Safety/Zero Harm cultureMinimum RequirementsBachelors Degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field of study required5 years of Heavy Civil/Rail construction experience in a related Engineer role requiredDesign-build construction project experience is preferredProficient in Microsoft Office suite and Primavera P6 requiredHeavy Civils & Rail construction project experience preferredBilingual (Spanish/English) a plus About UsBalfour Beatty US is an industry-leading provider of general contracting at-risk construction management and design-build services for public and private sector clients across the nation.
