Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and compassionate Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Tech) for a 13-week contract assignment in Neptune New Jersey. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety comfort and adherence to radiation safety standards in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with accurate patient positioning and proper technical imaging factors
  • Operate radiographic equipment and digital imaging systems efficiently and safely
  • Maintain radiation safety protocols and ensure proper beam restriction techniques
  • Perform portable X-ray procedures in patient rooms emergency departments and operating rooms
  • Assist physicians during radiopaque contrast procedures as needed
  • Accurately complete patient documentation imaging records and film identification
  • Provide compassionate patient care and assist patients with mobility and positioning needs
  • Maintain organized imaging rooms and follow departmental workflows and protocols
  • Support scheduling patient instructions and other departmental administrative responsibilities as required
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Radiology/X-Ray Technologist experience required
  • ARRT Certification required
  • Active New Jersey State License required
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging equipment patient positioning radiation safety and digital imaging systems
  • Excellent communication adaptability critical thinking and patient care skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong teamwork and patient-focused approach
