Position Summary
The Radiology Technologist supports department coverage by performing diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established standards and protocols.
Position Highlights
- PRN coverage based on department needs
- Required participation in on-call rotation (evenings weekends and holidays)
- Small department with opportunity to work independently
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
OR
- Current enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Must be eligible for ARRT certification
Preferred
CT certification and/or experience
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to established protocols
- Ensure quality imaging and patient safety
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for exams
- Follow radiation safety and infection control standards
- Document procedures accurately in EHR/PACS
- Participate in CT training; cross-training is required and can be provided
- Collaborate with providers and staff to support patient care
