GENERAL SUMMARY

• Greet patients in a professional friendly manner and explain procedures clearly.
• Produce high-quality radiographs to support accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain and update patient EMRs; provide copies of images upon request.
• Ensure images are uploaded correctly into PACS.
• Perform equipment checks cleaning and minor maintenance; arrange repairs when needed.
• Monitor radiation safety protecting patients and staff at all times.
• Maintain proper levels of radiology supplies and follow departmental safety protocols.

Essential Functions

• Deliver safe efficient diagnostic imaging services.
• Follow infection-control OSHA and departmental policies to maintain a safe environment.
• Assist with patient positioning and transfers to capture optimal images.
• Support smooth clinic operations by balancing quality standards with patient care needs.
• Handle occasional high-stress situations requiring quick accurate decisions.
• Travel intermittently between clinic locations as needed.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma/GED required.
• Certification: BMO certification (required); BLS certification; state licensure.
• Experience: 1 year in urgent care or patient care setting preferred; EMR knowledge helpful.
• Knowledge: Medical terminology diagnostic imaging practices anatomy radiographic safety and equipment handling.
• Skills: Strong customer service attention to detail communication and analytical abilities.
