Radiology Tech

Qualifications: AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent NYS license/registration or eligible and ARRT inMammography minimum of one-year progressive technical experience plus current CPR certificationrequired. Must successfully pass pre-employment health : Will be responsible for performing mammography and stereotactic breast procedures under the directororder of a radiologist. Will greet patients prepare them for their exam and explain the procedure to beperformed. Will position the patient appropriately for the radiographs and use proper exposure factorsto obtain high quality radiographs. Additional responsibilities include: maintain quality standards formanunography as required by the 1999 ACR Mammography QA/QC Manual and Hologic SeleniaDimensions QC Manual. Maintain continuing education requirements specified by MQSA tracking ofpatient information into the Radiology information system for documentation and billing purposes andany other tasks that are necessary to maintain quality patient care.
