Radiology Tech II

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day you will perform a variety of imaging examinations including X-rays ultrasound diagnostic fluoroscopy CT/CAT scans and MRIs while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel you must deeply understand diagnostic imagings critical importance encompassing expertise in workflow patient positioning and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

• Utilizes proper equipment (gurney wheelchair Hoyer-Lift etc.) to safely transport patient.
• Performs all routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures. Performs all routine CT or IR procedures.
• Assigns all patient charges appropriately.
• Records/reviews all techniques/procedures as required.
• Clearly marks all radiographs as to side location position patient ID etc.
• Marks all CR images with correct markers.
• Ensures all CR images are quality controlled and with correct S range.

• Completion of radiologic technology training in an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved school and
• One year or more as a staff technologist and performs all routine and emergency radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and operates the CT scanner for limited procedures and able to take call.
• Able to perform basic IR procedures and take call and
• Medical Radiographer: CA upon hire and
• Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA upon hire and
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT upon hire and
• Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire
• Performs proficiently in all aspects of two or more modalities
• Must meet all Rad Tech I and Rad Tech II competencies

Preferred

• Bachelors Of Science Radiologic science and 3 years of experience as a staff technologist upon hire
• Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (RTCT) upon hire
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) upon hire or
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) upon hire or
• Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology (RTN) upon hire
