As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.
Each day you will perform a variety of imaging examinations including X-rays ultrasound diagnostic fluoroscopy CT/CAT scans and MRIs while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.
To be successful in this role you must deeply understand diagnostic imagings critical importance encompassing expertise in work-flow patient positioning and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.
- Transfers and positions patients.
- Independently performs all diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department standards and in keeping with the orders of the referring physician.
- Provides protection in accordance with prescribed safety procedures.
- Accepts responsibility for filming and developing examinations including laser printing.
- Interviews patients for pertinent medical history and obtains consents on patients prior to performing studies as required.
- More than 6 months experience as Radiologic Technologist.
- Medical Radiographer: CA upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire
- Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA within 6 - months
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT upon hire or
- Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry upon hire or
- Registered Technologist Computed Tomography upon hire or
- Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography upon hire or
- Registered Technologist Mammography upon hire or
- Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging upon hire or
- Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire or
- Registered Technologist Quality Management upon hire or
- Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy upon hire or
