Radiology Aide

Founded in 1955 Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center is a 394-bed acute care nonprofit hospital located. Serving over 80000 patients annually the hospital offers a full complement of services including a Level II Trauma Center heart care cancer care and womens health. As our Radiology Aide you will provide essential support to the Radiology Department ensuring efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.

This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including assisting radiologists technologists and RNs with procedure preparation maintaining clean and well-stocked work areas managing telephone communications assisting with patient positioning transport and utilizing computer systems for patient information and order management. The Radiology Aide is a key member of the team contributing to a safe and effective environment for patients and staff while adhering to all applicable policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role youll need to prepare trays and all supplies for various procedures in accordance with established standards and procedures. Assists patients in getting ready for procedures

This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

• High School Graduate or GED
• One year of related work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills and abilities.
• Basic Life Support - CPR
• Fire Safetywithin 90 Days
