Pay Rate: $300.00 per hour.

Sign-on bonus: $8000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule: 8 hours per day 5 days per week between 7:00am5:00pm not to exceed 40 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active unincumbered license to practice medicine in any state.
• Must be Board Certified/Board Eligibile.
• ACLSBLS EHR Rad/NM.

Duties:

• Review imaging requests for appropriateness and provide appropriate protocols and oversight to radiology technologists.
• Protocol examinations and prescribe contrast agents medications and radiation doses in accordance with professional industry standards and ACR guidelines.
• Communicate imaging protocols to radiology technologists and imaging staff.
• Adhere to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles in all radiation-related activities.
• Provide interpretations of diagnostic imaging studies within the following turnaround times in the approved reporting system: STAT studies within one (1) hour; ASAP studies within eight (8) hours; Routine studies within forty-eight (48) hours. Communicate critical urgent and unexpected findings in accordance with departmental policies.
• Identify and report poor image quality or equipment performance using appropriate facility reporting channels.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and clinical consultations.
