Job Summary:

Professionally trained individual who produces high quality radiographs for all interventional studies assists with sterile setup and maintains sterile technique throughout procedures.

Demonstrate respect dignity kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients families visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

Job Description:

Were looking for a skilled technologist who not only meets all the responsibilities of a registered technologist but also has a strong understanding of sterile techniques anatomy and physiology. Youll review patient histories take necessary precautions to prevent adverse reactions and follow all safety standards to ensure safe effective addition to performing all standard procedures youll be trained to assist with advanced intervention procedures including venous access and monitoring sedation and medications during interventions. Youll also handle patient data ensure accurate billing and coding and manage supplies effectively. Education Credentials Licenses:

Education and National Credentials:

  • Graduate of an approved accredited program of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT(R)(CV) or ARRT(R)(VI) registered.
  • Current CPR certification

State Licensure:

  • Kentucky:
    • KBMIRT Radiation Operators License (Radiography).
  • Indiana:
    • Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) License Radiologic Technologist

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Excellent understanding of radiation protection and sterile technique.
