Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer
Location: Elmhurst NY
Type: Contract
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift 4:00 PM 12:30 AM 8.5 Hour Shifts Total Weekly Hours: 37.5 42.5 Hours

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer for an exciting contract opportunity in Elmhurst NY.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with department protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure image quality and patient safety standards are maintained
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support patient care
• Follow radiation safety and infection control guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of General Radiographer experience required
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology training program or Military Training equivalent
• Current ARRT certification and registration required
• Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License (NYSDOH) required
• Associate Degree preferred
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and patient positioning
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Preferred Qualifications

• BLS certification preferred
