We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist with CT experience to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in CT imaging demonstrate strong patient care skills and be proficient in operating imaging equipment safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Perform CT and radiographic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
Prepare and position patients for imaging exams while ensuring comfort and safety
Explain procedures clearly to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation
Operate imaging equipment efficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Apply appropriate radiation safety standards and protection measures
Monitor and report equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel
Accurately document procedures and patient data in Radiology Information Systems
Follow departmental policies procedures and imaging protocols
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care
Required Qualifications
Associates degree (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
Active New York State license/registration as a Radiologic Technologist
Minimum 1 year of CT or MRI experience as a radiologic technologist
Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and patient positioning
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Siemens CT scanners
Prior experience in a high-volume or acute care setting
Work Environment
Fast-paced imaging department
Requires attention to detail patient care focus and adherence to safety standards
Evening shift with rotating weekend and holiday coverage
